What is an Apostille? An apostille is a certification used for international documents to verify their authenticity and legitimacy in countries that are part of the Hague Convention. Essentially, it's a standardized form of authentication that ensures documents like birth certificates, marriage licenses, and diplomas are recognized as valid in foreign countries without the need for further authentication.

If you know what country your documents are going to, getting them apostilled is easy. If you have a state-level document then you can only get an apostille certificate issued from a state-level Secretary of State office in the state where your document was issued from or notarized in. If it’s a federal-level document then it can only be apostilled at the U.S Department of State in Washington D.C.

We can assist with:

  • Personal Documents: Birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, divorce decrees, and adoption papers.

  • Educational Documents: Diplomas, transcripts, and letters related to educational achievements.

  • Business Documents: Articles of incorporation, bylaws, patents, and documents related to foreign investments or business operations.

  • Legal Documents: Powers of attorney, affidavits, court orders, and other legal papers.

  • Notarized Documents: Any document that has been notarized can be further authenticated with an Apostille certification.

WHAT IS THE I-9 FORM?
The Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 is a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services form. An employer uses the I-9 form to verify an employee’s identity and to establish that the employee is legally eligible to work in the United States.

DO I-9 FORMS REQUIRE NOTARIZATION?
No, there is nothing in the wording of the I-9 Form that requires a notarization. However, employers will ask the new remote employee to take the form to a notary public for verification of identity and completion. Employers may include an additional page for notary service information.
